Steps just stopped working

My step on my 2017 just stopped working. 2017 Miramar 37.1 . The light for the step will also not go on.

It’s in shore power, batteries are good.

Had my steps go out a couple weeks ago. The motor and control board both went out. It was a $700 repair.

Ouch. The control board is under the steps as well, or is it located somewhere else?

Thanks

Which batteries?

Did you look for a blown fuse?

Did you check for 12 VDC going into the steps?

Thanks for the info, where would the fuse be at. I checked the fuse box all fuses good, no fuses were marked steps.

Some steps have an inline fuse. The steps are powered from the chassis battery, not the house battery. So check for 12 VDC at the steps themselves. If there - you have a step problem. If not there - trace the power wire back. I'm not sure what fuse block the power comes from in your coach. If you don't own or know how to use a multimeter and/or a trouble light now is a good time to get one and learn.

Rv Step Fuses

Hi. I have a 2017 37.1 Miramar.

Can some one send me photos or tell me where I can locate the fuses to the electric steps. My steps just stopped working. I have had no luck finding them.

Thank you

I fixed my stairs. The ground wire was a little corroded. Cleaned it up. All works good. Thank you all for your help.

Fixed my Kwikee steps today too...cleaned all connections and grounds and then I heard it clicking!...so I tapped the motor sharply...damn step came down while I was underneath it!...close call but no injuries!...but I never did find any fuses!...
