You're tracking straight...keep the pace. Sounds like the right giants have woken. Ford will get this right. Thor is on the hook also as they completed the chassis into a real vehicle. All will be good. Travel safe. TIP: Leave a large pan of potatoes frying on the stove just before you lock it up. July can get really cold in Wisconsin and you don't want to have to winterize it. The potatoes cooking will keep it warm.

Winterizing procedure

Is that the Thor suggested winterization procedure?!!

Maybe that’s where I failed.

Florida Lemon Law

Dealership gave me a book in regards to the Rv lemon law which apparently required by Florida. Included in the book is a form (in triplicate that needs to be completed and sent to manufacture)

See photos.

Good for you. I would create a numbered word document etc and email fax to all parties.
When we purchased ours and created this list, the dealer thor us everyone addressed each and every number until we decided to get it. It was at Pierce in montana 3 months over the winter and we did not need the MH.
We requested weekly updates of all fixes.
We even took pictures of everything and placed blue tape where we identified issues.

Sorry, I meant I’d make the dealership who did the repairs drive it for 20-30 miles before I took delivery…let them get 7 miles from the dealership and get stuck!

Save that option as a last resort. It's like using the lawyer word. Once you play the Lawyer Card you'll get no help going forward. It sounds like both Ford and Thor have stepped up to the plate in fashion and ready to help resolve this issue. You may have warranty/insurance clauses that can help you with the expenses of travel and hotel rooms. Ride this one out for a while with a smile and give peace a chance. I would also ask for Policy Allowances from both of them for help with the trip cancellation and added expenses.

The Florida AG web page on Lemon Law says "Do not delay in reporting a problem". Filing the paperwork in parallel with repairs does no harm and documents previous repair attempts.

The Florida AG webpage does not instruct service providers and manufacturers to continue being nice to you if you're planning on running their product up their butt in the end. I would hold off...but...this isn't my issue. If the filings are done with the AG and just kept on file with them until the end result, maybe go ahead with it but don't bring it up with Ford & Thor....as if Thor doesn't read this forum already.

The only knife allowed at my gunfight is a bayonet.

What evidence do you have that Thor reads the forum and knows who has a problem?

Thor is in no way shape or form active on this forum.

Forest River on the other hand is very active on their forum addressing issues.

Dead Pedal, no power, in AZ last year

I had a similar issue on my XG32 climbing out of Phoenix last Fall. Went dead, coasted off the road, at least got off the road. Turned it all off for a minute, it went again for a couple of miles and did it again. Dead Pedal, I could get it to barely move. So I disconnected both batteries and let it sit for about 5 minutes, then reconnected them and it was OK with some sluggish pedal for the 250 more miles to home.

It didn't need any parts or repairs, a reboot and computer update, that took 20 mins to download and install, fixed it and it has been good since then.

My biggest problem is that our Ford Dealer won't work on it because it won't fit in their shop. The service manager is a friend and got the flash done by one of the mechanics that would do it outside.

Don't believe everything you read.....

I've had Thor reach out to me twice on this forum while I was under warranty and they helped me with two issues and connecting me with the right people to get me into the Factory Service Center in Wakarusa.

Thor Customer Service is the primary reason I still own a Thor product.
