San T Flush Revisited

I have a 2017 ACE with the San T Flush system. The manual doesn't really go into specifics for us newbies on how it works. I dumped this morning for the first time (black tank ⅔ full) and when I hooked up the hose to the San T Flush nothing seemed to happen. The hose pressure built up but didn't get any water flowing into the Black water tank or anywhere else it seems. Any comments would be appreciated?

San t flush

I have a 2018 ACE that has this. If there was any stuff like bugs or wasp debris in the hose when you connected to the fitting it jammed the one way valve. Take the hose off the back, remove the san t fitting and try to clear it. Mine got plugged this way and I had Camping World fix it. Warranty work. The crappy techs just punched out the valve. Works but water comes back out when disconnecting. No much but still

San T Flush fix

I contacted the Swan Company and spoke with a technician about my problem with water not flowing through the San T Flush system. He told me step by step how to handle it and the first thing on the list was to check the vacuum breaker because many times they are installed backwards. Well, found the valve behind a panel and turned it around and now everything works perfectly. Just wanted to share a quick fix. Apparently, this has been this way since new and the previous owner never used it.

San T Flush

Question for the all knowing. ~ How does the San T Flush system work, at what point in the tank is it pressure spraying clean water? I ask because it does not seem to work well in my 2018 Hurricane.
In order to get mine clean, all chunks out, I'm finding I have to pull a hose inside and wash from bowl with hose water pressure. Does that sound right??

I had dealer add a black tank flush when we bought the Gemini, can't tell you what kind, as all that is visible is the connection for the hose. Far as I can tell, it works well, certainly makes a lot of spraying noise while its flushing. My routine is to run that, while the black tank drains, for at least two or three minutes. Have never had any issue with it.

My 2018 Windsport 29m is doing the same thing - hose connected, full pressure, black valve open, no flow. Anyone know where the vacuum breaker is on the 29m?

Vacuum breaker on the 29M is behind the bathroom wall. Not sure of the exact location. The dealer had to replace mine because it leaked the very first time I used it.

See my response above. Your vacuum breaker is installed backwards. Company had me reverse mine and works the way it is suppose too. Vacuum breaker on the 2016 ACE 27.2 is in the locker next to bathroom. A small panel held with 4 screws

Mine WAS working... and now it isn't!
The last time we tried it: nothing much happened... other than we had a trickle of water run down the bathroom floor!
I'm assuming that these things are plumbed along the top of the tank, and I must have a loose fitting...
