Strengthening Overhead Bunk Water Damaged Plywood Ceiling
I am currently demoing the overhead bunk area of my 2008 Thor Chateau Class C motorhome, due to water damage. I may be able to save some of the wood using epoxy to strengthen it. There is damage to portions of the ceiling, under the insulation.
Has anyone out there ever used epoxy on a plywood ceiling? My concern is that it will drip and not be soaked up the plywood. I will also use on the walls. I have never used epoxy and don't really know anything about it. I have reviewed YouTube videos of people using the product on an overhead bunk area
I am also thinking about removing the over cab window. Has anyone ever done that and, if so, how did you do it. Do you have a video, by some chance?
This is all new to me and hope to get some ideas from any and all RVers out there.
