Auto Gen Start

Tried to set-up Auto Gen Start. Showing No Comm. Does the Inverter have to be on for this to work.
2014 Pallazo. 33.3.

Did you have the use/store battery switch on?

Yes. It is on. Power to entire coach when inverter is on. Reason to set it up is late in the evening battery supply drops. Solar panels charge during the day. Has a residential fridge that pulls power. Need auto Gen to kick on.
