Welcome to our campsite.
Turn it off (store); when your RV is unplugged, and not being used.
Turn it on (use); whenever you are driving, plugged into any 120 volt power source, or will be running your generator.

Thanks Bob.
I'm still not understanding what it actually does.

In theory: it disconnects and isolates your coach's batteries...
In reality: you'll still need to install some disconnects on them in order to end parasitic losses.
(But that's another story...)

It is Switch installed by the manufacturer to allow Salesmen or RV Owner to quickly turn off power (STORE) to all of things connected to the House battery so it will not drain the batteries down. Think if you may not USE the coach for a week or longer them it may be good to put in STORE mode (Off).

On the Flip side, whenever you are using the coach, it should be in USE mode (On)

The batteries will not charge when the switch is in store, but there are still some devices that aren't disconnected when the switch is in store, hence, when storing the RV, you will still need to charge and maintain the battery(ies)
