Our bathroom sink waste drain is connected to the black tank. I found while traveling on rough roads that the p-trap below the bathroom sink becomes empty allowing gases to escape from the black tank into the bathroom. I now travel with the bathroom ceiling vent closed and the sink drain cover in place and closed.
