Tankless Heater and Washer _ Winterizing

I just finished winterizing my Thor Palazzo 37-4 which has a tankless water heater and I get an alarm and an E-2 error message on the control head in the bathroom. This first came on when I drained the lines and blew the system out with compressed air. I've since gone through the winterization with the "pink stuff' and have it coming out of all of the faucets even when they are turned to full hot, so it is not a matter of no fluid in the system. I've tried pushing the on off button which is illuminated but that does not seem to turn the system off or clear the code. Any suggestions?

Also, I am not sure about how to drain or winterize the washing machine. any suggestions here?

Thanks.

If you have the Slendide combo washer and dryer the instructions for winterizing are in the manual. There is one set for winterizing while you are pumping antifreeze through the system and another set for winterizing without pumping antifreeze.

Not sure about other brands.

Thumbs up Thanks

Dave,

Thanks, I'll check on the brand tomorrow. I did find those instructions on line and have printed them off. It says to disconnect the water lines and I am not sure if that is easily accomplished but I figure if I run antifreeze through both the hot and cold line and then run the spin cycle I should be OK.

I have an Aria with the Girard tankless WH. If you open the access panel on the outside, there is an on/off switch in side. If you turn it off the control panel will shut down.

If you have a Whirlpool washer like I do, you can run a short cold water cycle then a short hot water cycle to get the anti freeze to both sides of the inlet valve. Then dump a little in the tub and drain you should be good.
