Trombetta mounting screws.

Went to remove the Trombetta solonoid but it is held down by screws that I thought we're Torx but none of my Torx bits fit. Does anyone know if those screws take spline bits or something else? I want to find out before I by another bit set. I found a spline set on eBay.

Is the head a eight point? Forest river used them and a square drive fits them.

The head is eight point but I couldn't get it to turn with the square drive, the bit started moving in the head so I stopped before I damaged the screw.

Well I found the right bit, it's called a double square bit. Found it at Ace hardware. The bad news is the the screws were stripped enough that I have to drill them out anyway. I'll finish that later, my motivation level isn't that great right now
