Texas snowbird recommendations

Now that I’ve got my stolen catalytic converter replaced we are looking to go to Texas for 3 or 4 weeks to escape our Indiana winter. Never been there in an RV and it’s too big to wander aimlessly. Hoping my friends here can recommend a couple of places to spend a week or more. We have to spend a few days just outside of Dallas because DW is going to be an extra in the filming of a Christian film series called The Chosen. But after that we are free to look around. Yippee!

Sunset Point Rv park in Marble Falls Texas, right on the granite shore of LBJ lake. Close to several very nice attractions in the hill country of Texas.

Rio Grande Valley is the warmest area now. We stay in the McAllen area, many RV parks to choose from.

We are currently spending 2 months in Rio Hondo, TX @ Twin Palms [956.748.0800]
They are not Fancy, but the price is right with long but narrow slots [still room for your slides tho], nice laundry room and next door to the post office. 20 miles off the coast [S. Padre Is.]
The bad is WiFi sux

Note! With the Canadian border closed they are only at 30% capacity..lotta elbow room.
