My coach has been parked for a while I went to run to generator and found that I have no power unless its shore power. I don't even here the noise I usually hear when I hit the use/store switch. I tried all the breakers and theyre fine. and my generator will not start. Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot?
Is your "Use/Store" switch set to the "Use" position?
(Sorry: I had to ask.)
My other guess would be that your coach batteries are just dead from being parked. Can you hook a charger up to them?
Good luck!

Well usually the generator cranks/starts off the coach (house) batteries.....so no cranking and the fact that you also don't hear any relay noise when you operate the use/store switch, likely means your coach batteries are dead. I don't know what kind of battery control system you have in your coach but you could try the emergency start switch by the driver to see if you hear that relay operating (likely you won't since many of the emergency start relays are powered off coach batteries too). The other problem with the emergency switch is you have to hold it on while someone else operates the use/store switch.
So probably you will need to charge the coach batteries off a regular 12vDC auto battery charger; or boost them with another battery etc. Once the voltage is up over 10-11 volts or so you should be able to operate the use/store switch and hear the latching relay operate again. If that all goes without a hitch then shore power (if connected) should be charging the coach batteries again.....but use a voltmeter to verify that the coach battery is charging (see 13.1v or higher on the voltmeter).
