House Batteries don't charge on 110 VAC?

Have a question re: house batteries on 2017 Vegas 24.1. Have had it hooked to house elec via heavy duty extension cord for several days while packing it for extended trip. Just realized the house batteries are dead - I was under the belief 110 VAC would keep house batteries charged - am I wrong about this, or do I have a problem with my batteries?

They should. Ours do...

The most likely issue can be the USE/STORE switch (has to be in USE mode for batteries to charge)

Also, check the main breaker in the battery box

I think your house switch needs to be in "Use" position and NOT "Store" posaition. You might want to make sure it is.
