Angry Thor Citation bathroom door

Have a Thor Citation with ongoing bathroom door problem. It is a bifold type door. The pin keeps coming out of the top rail.
Have replaced all the hardware,

Also the mechanism that opens the door locked up. Had to hacksaw the pin to open. If I would have been in the bathroom when it locked up I would have had to break down the door to get out. Now I store a hacksaw in the bathroom in case that happens.

The design of the door is a good idea that doesn’t work.....

Bifold door on the bathroom is the first mistake. That’s gotta be the ultimate in privacy. Just peek thru the crack to see if anyone is in there. [emoji23]

May be worthwhile to covert to the double doors. My 2016 24St, doors hinge at the sides and open in the middle.

We have the 2015 Citation 24ST, exact floor plan as yours but we have that awkward L-shaped bifold door as OP mentioned. Now that we are trying out our (new) Thor, we are not a real fan of this design!
Would love to convert to the double doors. Any suggestions on how-to? Have to decide if it's worth the trouble or just putting up with the strange design!

It appears the only change was to hinge the doors at the ends. And some new hardware. (Door stops and magnets), If you can find a 2016 to compare or ask THOR. My doors are both 22 inches wide.

Those double doors appear to be wide enough to reach across the hallway, and shut the bathroom off from the rest of the coach. This gives you a much larger "bathroom"; when you close things off this way. It's pretty handy when taking a shower, and you want some more elbow room for getting dried off.
(Our Tiffin does this with double opposing doors on both the bathroom and the shower.

Thank you for the replies, we will add this project to our new "to do" list, which is growing very fast! I think we would like the double doors much better, and enjoy that extra elbow room while drying off!
