Our generator will not run. It turns over but will not take off. Sounds like it isn’t getting fuel. Is there a inline fuel filter on this unit?

What year is your RV? Is it a propane generator? If it is, I don't know of any inline filters. I just make sure the propane is turned on and the air in the lines are purged. (I start the stove.)

If it's not an LP generator did you prime it per Onan's instructions to start the generator?

My 5500 has an inline fuel filter directly under the unit. If its a gas generator, you need to start it every few weeks. The ethanol fuel gums up rapidly.

Make sure you prime it a few times with the start switch.
