Thor Miramar 35.2 stair replacement

Our electric stairs aren't working right. I think our repair guy damaged them. They don't go in and out when they are supposed to and are bent. Looking to replace with the same kind, which I found. Any suggestions on doing this or replacing it with a different model. Also, the switch to turn off the stairs doesn't work. Seems there is a bare wire down under there but can't see where it would attach. Any help you can give me is appreciated

Use the same brand/type/part number step as you have.
I looked into electric steps and the array of availability and the entire lack of description or even a 24inch wide having a 32 part number was baffling. If you are/they are off by just a 1/4" you'll need maybe an ungodly amount of modifuctations.

I just gave up trying to tell what would fit where.

Follow the provided installation instructions.
Use a multimeter to trace out existing wires (power, switch, interlock)
Don't use scotchlok connectors: solder and marine heat shrink are best.
