AGM Advice

Hi folks, getting ready to replace factory house batteries (2) after 3-1/2 years. I’m not into battery maintenance but used the originals to use and learn on. Now after researching and reading posts, I believe the XS 3000 is where I’m headed. I have 2017 Windsport 29M and wondering if anyone has an opinion on this battery:

Not used that exact battery but 336 bucks seems like alot for something rated to get you 60 amphours of use.

No name Chinese. May be good, may be......

On Amazon I think the best deals for AGMs with brand names are WindyNation and Renogy.

If you're willing to take a chance, I bought these last (late) winter to replace my batteries in my trailer. So far they seem like pretty good batteries. Half the price of the one you posted.

If you're going to go no name, you at least want to get a good deal out of it!

I would look at Fullriver or Lifeline. Very comparable pricing through invertersrus.com with good warranty and made in USA.

Trojan AGM batteries are excellent and I have never had any issues with them in many years. The T105 I have in the Tuscany are the youngest of the various AGM's I have.

Those are 6 volt that would be wired in series differently than the 12s parallel so if switching be sure you know how to wire them up. Also they must be bought in pairs.
