Thor Sanctuary/Tranquility Coach Battery Normal State

Hi all, I am sure this has been asked but I can't seem to find the answer. I have a 2023 Thor Tranquility. I'm trying to understand the normal states for the coach battery and amperage draw. When the vehicle main switch is turned on, with nothing plugged in and fridge not on I see the Amp draw is about -2.4 amps. This seems a bit high, but maybe this is normal.

For instance, when I am in the sun it is charging well with Power OFF. +6.2 Amps. But when I turn the main power on it Drops to + 3.8 Amps.

So if I leave the power on at night it drains the Re (li) able batteries about 13% over night.

To me, this seems like a lot not powering anything but the Winegard and the android tablet and other drains. I just want to know if this is NORMAL.

From my experience with my 2021 Axis, it is quite high.

With no lights or appliances on and the fridge off but the Girard water heater on and the battery disconnect switch on it draws about 0.75 amp. With the battery disconnect switch off, it draws one tenth of that.

You can hook up your ammeter with the switch on and pull the converter fuses one by one and look for a significant drop in one or more circuits. That will then narrow it down as where to look for what’s causing the high parasitic current.

I assume your rig has a propane &/or CO detector. Try disconnecting that (figure out which circuit breaker controls it) and see if the electrical draw drops significantly.

If that is the electrical draw I don't know of a workable solution (I assume you'd want to keep the detector detecting) but it might answer the question of where the electrons are going.

Is your inverter/charger on? If the inverter side is on it will draw 1-1/2 - 2-1/2 amps as I recall. Even with nothing plugged into your 120v circuits. This is assuming you have a Mastervolt or similar inverter/charger.
