Thor service center

Wondering if any one has been to the service center in Indiana lately. I have appointment in mid July, for repairs just wondering what to expect, will be staying there. Any suggestions on what to do in the area while they work on the rig.

Thanks Jamie,, guess I should have done a search before starting a new thread. Maybe some of the others might chime in on their experience.

We were just there in May. They come to get the RV at 7:00. If you need a car you can rent one from Enterprise Rent A Car in Goshen. They will come out to pick you up. Otherwise you can wait in their waiting area. A food truck comes by for lunch.

They usually have the rig back around 3-3:30. All set up for you and ready to go. The tech will go over what they did.

It was a very good experience. I have a good dealer, but if I had more complicated things to get fixed, I think I would go there. My work was all warranty work this time.

Did you know ahead of time how long you would be there?
I was thinking of towing the jeep.
Since the wife will be with me, don't think she will go for fine dinning at the lunch truck. Got find some things to see when we're there. Looks like this will be our summer vacation.

Well not too far away is the RV Hall Of Fame: RV/MH Hall of Fame - Museum - Library - Conference Center

In the waiting area there is a book listing when and where are the RV plant tours--all of them, not just the Thor ones!

I did not know ahead of time how long it would take. I had small Minor things. But they can eat up time too. I asked when he picked it up what he thought and he thought a day and a half. They had it done in a day. We ended up another day as we had a problem pop up. I just went to the desk in the AM and they were back out ASAP and we were on our way that day. It's nice they have the parts available.

Really easy to work with.

Brin g the toad. Then you can do whatever you want. We ended up in shipshwana looking around over that way. Never did get time to go to the museum.
