Exclamation Thor Vegas 2016

Our camper does not have a leveling system. How do you level? Blocks?

Yup blocks. I have 3 bags of the Lynx Levelers.

There are a few who have installed auto leveling systems in Axis/Vegas units...but they are pricey.

Yes, Lynx Levelers...work well ... have used them for years.
Once you get used to placement, etc. you get job done in a jiffy.
Be sure to place a pair of levels in your motorhome .. everyone has a favorite spot...Ron put ours directly inside the door, for easy checking.

Enjoy !

A pair of these Tri-Levelers work pretty well on the rear tires in conjunction with the Lynx levelers on front. Good for leveling one side especially and they store away nicely in the pass through cargo area up front.

Larry...have you used those much ? Ron has looked at them but not gotten them as the Lynx seem to be doing a sufficient job.

thanks !

Kay,

I use them just about every time the RV requires leveling. Makes it real easy and simple to drive up on the rear tires where you don't have to stack up the Lynx. I also use them at home on one side of the rear tires where my concrete pad for my cover isn't level.

Before I bought my Vegas, I searched this forum and decided to have the dealer install the HWH Kick-Down Levelers. I really like them.

We installed the HWH kick downs when our Vegas was new. Worth it for us because we spread the cost over a lot of nights and hopefully a lot of years.

I bought a 4x6 horse stall mat, and cut it up - some for the front wheels and some wide ones for the duallys (an idea from somebody who posted about it somewhere) they are heavy (a bit of a pain), about an inch thick, flexible if you are on uneven ground, and indestructible.

Dansy - Call the HWH factory. Only one kick-down unit will fit on the Vegas chassis.
