Vegas 25.6 windshield wiper stuck up?

Driving used wipers fine for 30 minutes .stuck up.
I can physically move it back down.
Rv on off and wiper stuck up.
I hear the motor running when stuck up?

Found this hanging down near inside steering arm?

Is this photo under the steering wheel? Have never seen carpet under the hood. Is that a connector that has come unplugged?

Until you get it fixed, a good coat of Rain X will make a big difference in your vision in a rainstorm. Or only travel on dry days!

That one if it fit might have lasted longer, who's to say the Ford ones might have a defect

Ford one? It's an Axis/Vegas. Ford did not supply windshield wipers.

Ford didn't supply the wiper motor? They have them online for the f53 chassis but they do say different brand's

First of all, AXIS/VEGAS is not on an F53 chassis: it's on an E350 or E450 chassis.

Second, just like there is a difference between a cutaway chassis and a stripped chassis. The cutaway has a cab, the stripped does not.

The Axis/Vegas is built on a stripped chassis.

This is what I found on a quick Google search yesterday. The Thor Vegas 25.6 is built on Ford's F-Series chassis and is powered by a 7.3L V8 engine. It has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 14,500 lbs and a Gross Combined Vehicle Rating (GCVR) of 22,000 lbs.Jul 11, 2021

And that's why you don't trust the Internet. It is built on E-series chassis.

Why would you look anywhere but the Thor website?

Wiper motor

I need to change the wiper motor on my Vegas 24.1 and have ordered the replacement from AM Equipment.

If anyone has replaced the motor assembly themselves, do you have any comments or helpful tips?

Thanks!

All Ford stripped chassis are assembled (built) by Detroit Chassis in Detroit and Avon, OH. They have little to do with the Ford truck pant in Louisville, KY or Chapman, NJ where most of the cutaway chassis are built.
Ford designs and warranties the cutaway chassis but most of the components are sourced elsewhere.
