I suppose you have a Magnum and it's ME-RC remote panel....
make sure that your battery CHARGER button is set to 'ON'
the 'ShoreMax' button/setting should be set it to 30 or 40amps
set the AGS to 'Enable', it will not come crank the generator otherwise...
if the AGS 'Volts' setting is set too low, such as 11.0 or lower, then the batteries may not have enough 'juice' to start the generator... a setting of 12.0 might be best.
and
if the generator cannot be started, eventually the Inverter will 'error', which basically means it has turned itself off to keep from discharging the batteries any further. The 'LBCO' setting, under the Tech button, is what determines when this happens... a setting of 11.0 or higher would be best.
so, in theory, like ours, the AGS is 'Enabled', the 'Volts' setting is at 12.0, and the 'LBCO'(low battery cut off) setting under the TECH button menu, is at 11.0.
as long as you have at least 1/4 tank of fuel, the AGS should be able to perform very well, keeping the batteries charged, while you are not on Shore Power.
