Throwing engine code when using tow mode

When in Tow/Haul Mode the transmission downshifts to assist in slowing down when you step on the brake. It seems to me that it does this prematurely causing the engine to roar and sometimes throws an error code displaying the yellow engine light.

I checked with my OBDll Reader and it shows a P0300 error message which is a random misfire. Anyone have any experience with this?

It is a 2016 Ford V10 with approximately 20,000 miles.

I'm going to stop using the Tow mode and see if it still does it.

How fast are you traveling when you hit Tow Mode button? How many rpm's are you kicking out when it downshifts?

I typically drive with Tow Mode on whenever I have my Jeep hooked up. I didn't look at my RPM's as I was exiting the Interstate and keeping my eyes on the exit ramp. I could tell by the roar of the engine, it had downshifted lower than I preferred. When I stepped on the gas to merge the yellow light came on.

I've gotten that code a couple times. Each time I was in tow haul mod and going up a mountain

I cleared it using my scan Guage.
I've read up it a bit and it's seems to be a common code but nothing to worry about

If it persist or the engine light is blinking I'd get it looked at

What I've read it happens at high revs or down shifting which I was doing both times I got the light
