Time to bed down the Baby.

Tomorrow: we'll be "wheels-up" at 05:30, and heading toward the Dealership.
(123 miles, and two and a half hours away...)
We managed our usual couple of trips this year. It's tough when we both work 50 hour weeks, and the Missus is in a "hatchet-fight" serous fight for her life...
The Tiffin performed flawlessly once again, and we're already making reservations for next year (God willing...)
I let the Dealership winterize and store it for us...
1. They only charge $100 for storing it until the end of April,
2020.
2. They will winterize it the right way... Not some half-assed
job that I'd do...
3. It's also time for another roof inspection.
4. I do have one warranty item for them to look at: one of my
roof vents seems to want to not open or close reliably.
It seems to be stripping out the gears that move it.
5. I think I want them to install some Max-Air 2 vent covers
on all three vents

Now I'll just have to shop hard, for the next five Months or so...

Replace the roof vent with a fantastic fan and then put the vent cover on (how is that for shopping hard?? LOL)

Ours has been napping for a month now...

Hats off to you and your wife for the long work hours and hope the knife fight is in her favor. Glad I don't have to winterize and store for the winter. Here in Texas, we use our coach year round. In fact, winter is the prime time to camp. No 110 degree days to deal with and all the kiddos are in school. The golf courses do get brown, but winter rules apply and they are free from crowds.

Question

I'm curious, Bob.... Are you pulling the new "toad" and using it to get back home after dropping the rig off ?

$100 storage from now til April ? What size gun did you use to get that rate ? When I lived in snow country, it cost me $150/month to store a fiver. And that was almost 20 years ago !

Have a safe and uneventful trip !

I agree that's really a really cheap storage price.

Move to Florida and retire Bob..... My unit is plugged in here at house with racetrailer connected waitting to see if we can race today. If not, we will race next weekend and virtually every weekend into January.

Hope all goes well with your your wife. Time is the one thing that cannot be replaced.

I should have done this 5 years ago when both wife and I were in better shape.

The Toad's new trailer is on order; so it's not coming along for the ride...
We dragged the Kid into meeting us at the Dealership, and bringing us back to Kingston (one hour from home...) The Missus felt good enough to get her RAV4 to the Camping World parking lot...
They normally charge $100 per Month. Because they sold us the rig: we get a special rate for this kind of thing.
