Tire storage ramps

Has anyone used the plastic tire storage ramps for winter storage?

Do they work?

Amazon sells many styles and I would love to hear if they work. Reviews on Amazon seem favorable.

I want to protect my new $3,500.00 Michelin investment.

Protect how?
If you mean the radiused things that a tire sits in to preserve its roundness, yes I've used them. And I think they have a sort of value.
However
I have a car sitting 10 year old bias ply tires, and one sitting on 12 year old radials and they are all perfectly round.
The bias have about 1,000 miles in 10 years, the radials about 100 miles.
And
I havent read on this forum of tires going out of round

If you meant tire covers...thats a different thing.

(I had to guess because you didn't afford a link)

Flatstoppers. Yes

- to maintain tires in the round and not acquiring flat spots. My original Goodyear's had bad flatspots on them after 6 years.

I've heard of flat sided tires but you're the first, first party story.
I've had frozen tires thump for a while but they rounded out.

Yes, I liked mine just fine.
I only quit using them because the very moment I got a car up on them, I needed to take it down for some 'once in a decade' reason.

They were nice peace of mind.
