Tire valve extension leak

Had a low tire pressure reading on an inside dual tire. Took it down to Discount Tire and found that the extensions that the rv dealership installed was slowly leaking out of the top. They told me to never use these type due to o ring failures.

I think I had the same ones on our rig. I bought a handful of extensions thinking it would make checking pressure a little easier. Long story short I decided to put all the extensions in a drawer in the coach and use them for checks before trips. So many posts here about bad experiences with leaks and worse I'll pull the covers attach the extensions and check/ refilll as needed and sleep better. Just my newbie opinion.

I have used tire valve extensions for the last 25 years without any problems. IMO, valve extensions is like Ford versus Chevy.

I had one with a small leak not from the O-ring. Replaced it with a new one and have had no other valve extension issues.
