Toilet bowl drain gasket
Gasket at bottom of bowl, leading to blank tank, is getting fat in the back where the ball closes.
Where can I get a new one?
Reseated the current gasket and performed a few flushes. It's fat again. Time to R&R.

Amazon is your friend. You will need the make and model # of the toilet.

My coach came with the owners manual for the toilet. It has part numbers and diagrams in it.
If someone thinks we all use the same toilets in a probably get you the part number.
But
I think the seals are pretty generic by manufacturer and not specific to model numbers within a manufacturer.

I have read some place that vasoline extends the life of the gasket. Rub some on it from time to time.

I remember that and thought the same thing. Still not bad to have a back up.
I have options. And this is a place to be. Thanks.

Log into Thor's website with your VIN and see what documentation you can download (here: https://www.thormotorcoach.com/owner-resource/ ).
You should be able to download the build sheet for your coach containing a list of all the items, their model #'s and serial #'s used (like A/C, Refer, toilet, range, water heater, etc.). They even have all my documentation for our 6+ year old coach.
From there you'll have all the info you need to go amazoning without having to speak to anyone.
I replaced my ball gasket in our toilet a couple of years ago, a pretty easy thing to do (also search it on youtube there are a few videos showing the process).

Look inside your bdrm closet door. There is normally a list of all appliances with model numbers. Most toilets require they be removed to replace that gasket, however one new model (not mine) can be repaired in place. The kit will include a base gasket if you need to remove the toilet.
Online or RV dealer....
You tube video gave details when I changed mine.

Use "plumbers grease", found at most hardware stores, rather than Vaseline. Vaseline is petroleum based & will eventually swell up the rubber gasket.

But once you know your toilet model the search for a blade seal is easy:

Thank you. Based on the illustration in the manual, I think it's Thetford Aqua Magic II. It comes with two seals, so I guess one is a base gasket.
I also found this review. Not to offend anyone, but sure would like to know why the statement was made:
"There were no instructions so I used a good You Tube video to install. I had trouble with the flap working properly because the video said to use Vaseline to lubricate it. This was a mistake! I went to the Thetford website and they recommend a silicone spray lubricant. I tried this and it worked great. Works like new!"

i had problems with mine leaking 3-1/2 years ago after letting the bowl dry out in storage. I'd normally keep a few inches of water in the bowl as a seal...but we stored it too long without attention.
Anyway, I tried all sorts of suggestions...finally resorting to ordering a new seal kit. Last ditch effort I tried soaking it in CLR. Soaked it over a few days, occasionally flipping it open to crack the seal and let more leak through.... at first it would barely hold any and I had to keep it refilled. Anyway after a couple days of putzing around with it it stared holding.
Eventually I've taken to pouring a bit of the blue tank treatment into some water in the bowl when putting it into storage, and keep an eye on the water level. The blue stuff seems to slow evaporation a bit, and I'm imagining probably contains some seal conditioners....
Anyway, I still have that new now a bit old but still in the bag seal kit floating around out in the garage
Thetford 34120 Waste Ball Seal for Style II & Style Plus Toilets
I'd send it to you if you need it...but I have no idea when I'd get out of the house to mail it....so never mind...

mine has the serial number on the back of the toilet
base, hard to see, I used my phone to take a picture, then used that number to find parts. it was about $12 for the set of gaskets.

Why me? - Maynard G Crebs
So on this trip, the ball stuck or the inside levering bits failed.

Just changed my gaskets out yesterday. It has not been able to hold water more than a few hours in the bowl. Just got back from a trip, so had an hour or so to do it. Very easy to do. Below is a detailed link to a youtube on how to do it. And below that is where I ordered the seal kit for my Aqua Magic Style II and others.

I supposed that you could use lip balm...
But borrow someone else's tube of it!

Just a word of caution with plumbers grease. Read the label on the package before buying or using it on your rubber plumbing seals because typical plumbers grease (surprisingly?) is not safe for plastic or rubber. Check out the stuff Home Depot sells as an example.....in the description it advises not for plastic or rubber. If you are going to use a grease on the rubber seals use something like Moens Silicone Lubricant which Home Depot also sells and it is safe to use on rubber. It also comes in a very similar container to the plumbers grease.
Just a side comment, I have found over the years that using a good quality pink antifreeze during Fall winterization in the RV toilet, slows down evaporation issues (loss of fluid above the seal) and actually seems to keep the seal in very good condition. The freezing temps here also help slow the pink from evaporating I expect. Amazingly we still have our original toilet seal in our 2013 ACE......spare repair kit is still waiting for my turn to use it......still flushing well when required in camping season so far.
