Toilet flush pedal Seems not to be Working

Currently I’m Boondocking and when I use the water in my Thor hurricane 32 a 2014 class a, I turn on the water pump. When depressing the pedal on the toilet water flows as it should. Upon releasing the peddle the water keeps Filling up the toilet bowl. The water should stop flowing. Does anyone have experience fixing a stuck pedal? Thanks for any and all opinions and experience.

Is the pedal stuck or has the valve failed? The valve fails with some regularity but at least it is cheap and easy to replace. Don’t know much about a broken pedal mechanism. I think you’ll just have to start taking things apart, if you can, if that is your issue.

If the bowl is actually filling the pedal is not stuck, the valve is. OTOH if the water continues to drain through the ball valve the pedal is stuck. Have you tried lifting the pedal ? Maybe a weak return spring?

Ace is right on. Check the spring making sure it isn't broken or has something entwined or obstructing its return action.
