Tuning chip

Has anyone used the Thornton tuning chip in their V10. Looks promising

Just remember: There are no magic wands... no 100mpg carburetor. But there's many people out there who are very crafty at lightening your wallet.

JMHO...

Most of us that believe in customer engine tuning use a 5 Star tuner. They are a Forum sponsor and often give discounts. Ford did a good job in turning the V-10 in front of the 6R140 transmission for fuel mileage and power. The transmission not so well. It took me three tries with 5 Star to get the engine/transmission tune I wanted. I am totally satisfied customer after 6 years. <https://5startuning.com/>

If your expecting that tune, or any other, to get you more than 10 mpg, which by the way would be very good, from a Ford V10 in a motorhome, or a pickup, then save your $$ for gas.
The power band on that engine is high rpms, high rpms equal fuel. That V10 is very powerful, will pass almost anything on the highway.............except a gas station.
