TV reception interupted

Hi, We have a 2014 Four Winds 31w. We have the original Winegard antenna on top and this year the reception goes in and out. Worse when it's windy. It's not the TV because it works fine when we switch over to Directv. This is only going on with the local channels. Same campground as last year and no problems then. My husband tried to secure the antenna so it didn't move but it didn't make a difference. It comes apart on the top and we could replace it but I thought i would see if anyone else has had that problem. Thank you, Jo

c

Sounds like maybe the cable from the antenna down is not tight at the antenna, happened to me not long ago.

I tightened the connections on the roof and everything I could find behind the TV. It seems to be the antenna. Thank you for suggestions.

Connections at the booster, you know, behind the plate with the green light.

I have this exact same problem at home only with my roof antenna. I tried everything I could think of with no success. I finally figured it out with the help of a neighbour. It was not my antenna moving in the wind it was the trees that were reflecting the signal back at my antenna.
When they would move my picture would freeze or pixelate. I had to move the antenna to the other side of the house to cure it, and it had never happened before this year but the trees had grown just tall enough to interfere.

Nosticks.....That was it. I took the little panel off and both connections were loose. I would have never looked behind there. Thank you so much. Problem solved and we get more channels than ever.
