TV Remote Not Working Due To TV Trim

My TV remote will only work if I get close to the TV in him down at the red and green light as my TV has sunk or jiggled downward a quarter of an inch and the trim board hides the electric guy any suggestions? Would like to raise the TV a quarter of an inch and re-fastened it but how in the world would you get to the reef backside of it?

If the TV has sagged I think the fix is to find and repair the cause of the sag.

Or when all else fails: notch out the trim.
