Screen door and entry door latch

Picked up my new Thor Hurricane 34E on Thursday. Today we were going thru it and noticed there is no catch for the screen door in the jam. Also noticed no lock for the entry door to keep it proped open (keep the wind from getting it). Is this suppose to be this way ??? Or, did the factory forget something ???? Thanks

In my opinion, those things should be there. Not only did the factory miss them, your dealer did also.

Had email from Tom Overton, a Thor warranty advisor. He too thinks they should be there, but, they are not. I asked the salesman about it and he said he would ask. He has not gotten back to me.

Are there any Hurricane 34E owners out there that can verify what I should be looking for ???

I have a 2013 thor Hurricane 32a and it seems like your door is missing what mine has...a double sided black plastic handle for releasing the screen door from the main door, and also on the jamb, a plastic strike plate...mine has been shimmed out with a washer to make a "ledge" for the striker to rest on when using the screen door alone. They should make it right for you.

dlsnackman, I have the lever on the screen door but no strike plate for it to catch. Also, are you able to prop you entry door open ?

Yep....there is a device on the door and the side of the MH to keep it open.
