USE/STORE switch

Help me to understand what this switch actually does, please. Here are the preconditions:
- Engine off
- Shore power not connected
- Generator off
- Inverter off
If the USE/STORE switch is set to STORE under these conditions, will I see 12vdc (from the house or chassis batteries) at the output of the converter?

Bigger MHs use a latching relay operated by a switch at the entry which sends a signal to the latching relay to connect or disconnect the batteries. My Axis, a smaller MH with the batteries underneath the steps, uses a physical switch, a Perko I believe.

Based on my Axis experience the switch only disconnects the power to the converter and the appliances powered from the converter. It does not disconnect the cable from the batteries to the chassis alternator. This lets the chassis alternator charge the battery whether the switch is on or off.

But in your scenario, there are no sources of DC power at the converter since there is no shore or generator power and the batteries are disconnected, so there should be no voltage there either.

typically they are wired so that when "store" is pressed, the house battery is basically unplugged.
simple as that.

In theory it's the same as pulling the positive wire off the battery post.

In theory because there's a chance that some device might still remain connected to the battery causing a drain....but there really shouldn't be anything.

CO and LP are left connected for safety. Radio is left connected for convenience.

My radio does not work with the battery disconnect turned off.
