I was at my RV yesterday and ran some tests as I had posted earlier. Here’s how I saw things unless I messed up which is very possible some days!!! Anyway, chassis = C (12 v battery) and house = H (2ea 12v batteries in parallel).
• Baseline start C @ 12.1, H @ 12.5. Unit has been off power approximately 1 week
• Start engine, use store off: C @ 14.4, H @ 14.2. House lights do not work.
• Engine running use on: C dropped to 13.2 and climbed back to 13.6 in minutes, H stayed at 14.2. House lights work.
• Engine running use off: C dropped to 13.2 and climbed back to 13.6 in minutes, H stayed at 14.2. House lights again do not work.
• Engine off, use off, shore line plugged in: appears use/store immediately went to use. C @ 13.2 but climbs back to 13.6, H@ 14.2. House lights work
• Engine off, turn store off, shore line plugged in: No Charge @ C or H. Lights work
• Also, engine and/or shore line was only operational for a few minutes. All this took place w/i 20 minutes.
I guess really not a whole lot of info but to me just tells me when engine running everything charges if I want it to or not. And, when I plugged in shore line and it appears mine immediately goes to on use/store on. And it works as described in previous discussions and nothing charges if use/store is on store.
I always travel with use/store on as my radio/GPS doesn’t work unless in use. Anyway, thanks, Dennis.

I go about two months and when I check the status lights the batteries show they are 2/3. I then run the generator to top them off. I do that about every 2 months.

... and these are also the stock Harris batteries.
