Vegas 24.1 freshwater drain

Draining the freshwater tank is taking hours. I ran the outside shower until the tank was 1/3 full, but the low point drains just dribble water. Is there a way to speed this process along?

Ours is not real quick, but it is a steady stream. Did you try gently running a coat hanger up the tube. Maybe there is some debris in the valve or tube. It wouldn't take much.

Turn the pump on and open the low point drains. When I do that water pours out of them.

Yes the 24.1 water tank takes forever to drain--I usually end up just putting it in storage with the drain open and go back a few days later to close it.

same here, gotta run the pump

I open all the low point drains and turn on the pump. It's still slow but not nearly as bad.

Freshwater Drain

Thanks for all the feedback. Fortunately I had all night as it probably took almost that long!

If the air vent hose to the tank isn't completely open it will take forever! Try taking the fill cap off when draining and see if it makes a difference.

Hello everyone, I have the Vegas 25.2 and I have noticed that the fresh water drain is drip at best. I have run the pump to pump out the water. Not real happy with doing that. I have to try opening up the fresh water fill while draining. Thanks SuperD.
