Vegas 27.7 tankless not igniting

2019 Vegas 27.7. The tankless water heater stopped working recently - no known change. Was working fine previously.
-The fire icon on the bathroom panel that usually comes on during use does not.
-No other icons are displaying (fan/fire/flow)
-There are no errors or indications of any kind on the bathroom panel.
-Checked water pressure, both on city water and pump. Seems ok.
-Checked fuse - driver-side in hall at the bottom. Fuse ok.
-Checked gas. No change, other gas appliances (stove, external) work.
-Check heater on outside. No debris or obstructions.

Nearest fix-it is CW - not a fan.
Thoughts? ~J

Looks like you have most of the external troubleshooting completed.
All I can add is download the manual for the water heater and check its internal troubleshooting section.

First the easy ones:

1. Check the outside on off switch by opening the outer access panel. If it is on check the led right near it for light (may have to wait for night to see it).

2. Dirt, scale or something may have plugged up your faucet and you are not getting enough flow to trigger the burner. Turn on two faucets, both wide open hot and check the display and see if the temperature comes up in 5-10 seconds. Be aware that some faucets may be plumbed backwards and what you think is hot is cold.

3. If that doesn't work then open the outside panel and tap on the flow device with the handle of a screwdriver. It is on the lower right side looking in. It is a brass device with a couple of wires attached. Then try again.

4. If none of these work contact Girard. They are very helpful and admit that often the flow device gets stuck when all of the above are tried and it still doesn't light.

Good luck.
