Don't know about the law in Pennsylvania, but in California the manufactures warrantee clock does not start until the day the vehicle is first put into service.

It starts the day you take ownership of a vehicle, not when it was built, or the year model of the chassis, etc... Show them your purchase paperwork, but be prepared to know that over two years has elapsed, therefore you are probably still not covered. : /

Sounds like the dealer who sold the RV as new failed to submit the proper paperwork to FORD to reset the warranty date. If you bought it new you need to light a fire under your dealer.

Yep... all Ford knows by default is when the chassis was sold to Thor.. The dealer needs to submit paperwork to Ford to indicate the final sale - and the START of the actual warranty.
Harder to do after the fact, but push on the dealer.

The Ford warranty should be 3 yr/36,000 miles - so if you are ok on the miles side, I'd expect it should be covered once they straighten out the mess.

Get Axis manual. There is a link somewher on this site. I submitted information to Ed on how to set your Ford Warranty to start the day you take ownership. Ed has it in the Manual. There is a website you can use. Your unit could sit on the lot for a year and if you do not reset your warranty start date you will lose that year.

"You" don't reset the warranty date the dealer has a form from Ford that will change the Warranty start date to the registration date. This is regardless of the chassis date. Most of the Ford warranty folks will get this wrong. You should have a copy of this form when you bought the coach. No? Your dealer is a slacker!!
