Cougar heater

I have a cougar 28rks( rear kitchen ) when the heater is running the counter top and stove get very hot. You can only lay your hands on them for 7 to 8 seconds. Have checked to heater exhaust and there is no blockage. There is a duct line running toward the stove but the only way to see where it goes is to remove the stove. This doesn’t sound normal to me. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Sounds to me like you have a heater hose that is either not hooked up or has a hole in it.
Our new motor home we purchased this year when the heater was running would get the closet and dresser very hot, pulled the cover inside where the heater is at (it's under the closet) and found a hose not hooked up to the heater.
