W heater not working

Ok rv people. I'm out on the road and I don't get hot water. I've tried the electric AND propane option ,but neither will heat the water.
What do u suggest.
Thx in advance

Have you tried any breakers that may be tripped?

Propane mode:
Propane tank full or low?
Propane tank valve open?
Air bled out of propane line to water heater?
Propane Control switch in panel on?
Is water heater attempting to start (should hear the igniter clicking)?

Electric Mode:
Is Electric switch on at Control panel?
Do you have 110 voltage in RV Unit?
All circuit breakers are in the on position and not tripped in Circuit panel.

When was the water heater last working and in what mode?

Great ideas ^^. Another thing I would check is to see if the water heater is full of water. Make sure someone didn't switch the by-pass valves which wouldn't allow water to fill the tank. Good Luck! Keep us posted.

Have you ever gotten hot water from it? After checking all the above ideas and you still don't have hot water, it may be a kinked hot water line going from the hot water heater. That's what happen to me. When they installed my water heater the water line was to long and it kinked. I could get cold water from the hot water faucet but no hot water, even though I knew the water heater was heating the water.

first off, what does 'out on the road' MEAN?? Are you parked and plugged into shore power? Running your generator? Just 'driving' down the road and expecting the water heater to be heating water?
Are you using Propane and Electric heating at the same time, or separately?

give us more 'exact' situation details, and we can start to help...
