Unhappy Wakarusa Thor Factory Service - High Hopes Dashed

I dropped my Challenger 37TB off in Wakarusa for factory service on Nov 23, 2020. This is a 1300 mile round trip for me from North Carolina. I had a pretty long list of service needs under warranty with most of them surrounding water leaks from all 3 slides and the damage caused by these leaks. Without the water leaks, I would be a very happy camper. I picked up the coach on Feb 8, 2021 and drove it home through the snow at slow speed. Not the smartest choice but made it home safely.

To store the coach, I level it, put the slides out and bring the slings back in just in case there was slight movement of the slides during travel. With the coach being back for 1 week and 2 heavy nights of rain, I have checked the coach for water. 2 of the 3 slides still leak. I mopped up and notified Thor that my issues were not resolved from the factory service - which was my last hope as my dealer was also unable to stop the slides from leaking.

Anyone been through this and have a solution. While I really don't want to ask for my money back, I am afraid the coach is not reliable as water had already damaged the floor and subfloor and both were replaced in the factory service. The coach felt new upon picking it up. But these leaks which were not fixed at the factory service center will destroy the integrity of the coach in a year or 2. Thor has already stated they do not buy back the coaches, just repair them. But that did not work for me.

Any advice?

Since you're still under warranty: Call them up, and tell them about this issue. Insist that you don't want the RV back until it it 100% leak-free.
Good luck!

Yeah I'd keep on Thor. They are pretty good about making things right.

Thor has a rain shelter for testing for leaks. I’m curious why they didn’t reveal the leaks from their test facility. I’d ask if they tested it and if not, why?

The Coach went 3 rounds in the rain booth. And I am sure it did not leak. But after driving it home, it leaks. I worry there is too much movement while driving and the slides can't stay aligned or tight. Since the seals look perfect, it has to be something else. During the first year, the coach leaked more after each trip, even though it is stored level and the slides reset. My big worry is the strength of the frame to hold square. Its confusing for sure.
