Own a 2018 Thor Windsport 29M. Out dry camping. Water heater works off 110 just fine at home. It will not come on using LP. I’ve drained the air several times and that does not work. The stove, furnace and refrigerator all are working fine on the LP. When I flip the water heater switch to on at the panel It does not ignite the water heater. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Yes, I have plenty of LP.

First you need to find out if you have spark. Let the water heater door down and have someone inside the coach turn the water heater switch (propane) on. Outside listen for the popping of the spark. it should go in for about 15 seconds or until there is a flame. Do you smell propane? If propane is flowing and there is no light, you should smell propane. If you hear a poof several times the carburetor needs adjusting (refer to the service or owners manual). If no propane smell, search around the electric propane valve for a manual 1/4 turn valve. it is not required, but some install it just because it is in the kit. If no manual valve or propane smell, that can be caused because the electric valve is not opening (it may be disconnected), the circuit board is bad or the wire for the switch in the coach is not properly connected. The circuit board needs 12 volt power from the batteries when no shore or generator power, so the Use/Store switch must be in Use (master power - on).

What, exactly, does that mean?

Does it try to ignite the water heater? Any clicking?

Does the "pilot light out" light come on?
How long have you owned this coach?
Has it ever worked on gas?
And LEDs lite on the controller board?

Could be gas supply.
Could be controller board.
Could be ignitor/flame sensor.

Thank you everyone. I’m pretty certain now that it’s the circuit board. Yes it had worked on our last trip. We’ve owned for two years. Do you have a recommendation for an online location to purchase either the factory or dinosaur circuit board? Thank you.
