Angry Water over-flowing from filler connector

My 2018 Thor Ace 30' has water inlet on drivers side to hook to city water. On passenger side there is connector to fill the internal water tank. We are currently camping and hooked up to city water and notice the water is flowing out of the tank fill connector on passenger side. Is there a check valve that's malfunctioning or is there a valve control I don't know about that needs to be switched? This has never happened on previous tripps.

I have had the same thing happen with my 2014 Windsport 34f 36'. Not sure what caused the problem.

Yes the check valve in the water pump is leaking. Shutting off the campground hose bib and using to run about a gallon of water through the pump will sometimes clear the fault but not always. You can just replace the pump head (the motor is still good) or splice a one-way valve (check valve) in to the PEX between the tank and pump. Search for a 1/2" push in check vale for PEX <supplyhouse.com>.
