Water Pump

I have a 2017 Thor Outlaw 38RE. The water pump is not working. I have checked the fuses under the bed and under the dash. I have looked for a line fuse at the pump and nothing there. Everything else in the RV works. Is there another hidden fuse panel that I have not found.

I would locate your 12V pump and check for 12VDC there. Should be two wires to the pump, they are typically faston type push connectors and you should be able to pull them out and insert the probes of a meter there.
Check all the pump switches, typically there is several although I am not sure of how many you have.

Checking for voltage at the pump will give you a pretty good indication of whether the pump is bad. Assuming you don’t have power reaching the pump you’ll just have to get a multimeter and do some basic troubleshooting. You really should figure out exactly which fuse serves the pump and check it with the continuity tester on your meter. Once in a while a fuse can look good but not be. I’m betting on a switch or a loose connection easily fixed. Good luck.

I don't know your coach, but if you find no 12vdc at the pump terminal wires and all else seems to check out, then you also “may” have a bad pump relay/contact or bad connection in that pump relay control circuit. The trick is finding where that relay or bad connection might be located. In my ACE the water pump relay is mounted under the bed along with an ignition lock out relay and the awning relay. It could also be simply a bad water pump on/off switch on the control panel (assuming it is not a touch software driven system?). Some Firefly control systems have had issues with strange operations and failures, but that vendor seems very good as correcting the issues with updates etc. Good luck.
