Water under windshield trim

Not sure if it's been answered, could not find it. Cleaning the bugs off the front I noticed water pouring out from the base of the black rubber on the windshield. Not sure if this is normal.

Wasn't a lot, but enough to show concern.

I see the same water running from under the rubber seal on my windshield as well (2015 Windsport). So far it doesn't seem to be causing any issue. I see that the seam in the rubber seal is at the TOP of the windshield and although I don't know for sure, I suspect the seam should be placed at the BOTTOM of the windshield instead. If I'm right, water enters the seam and runs down inside the seal.

Whatever the origin it means water is getting behind the gasket. It’ll probably show up inside the windshield as well. Had the problem on my last coach. I used a windshield sealer from the auto parts store. Comes in a tube and is like really runny silicone. I applied it to the outside edge of the gasket (on the outside of the windshield) on the top and both sides. Also to the sides and bottom inside edge of the gasket (also outside, of course). The stuff flows easily and goes where the water goes before setting up. It worked great and is invisible when you’re done. Took a couple of applications along the bottom inside edge in my case. It’s worth a try.
