Of course it was, but thats not the issue. It could have been a $1500 roof repair. The issue is you aren't garenteed you will recover the money you put out for warentee work when you pay ahead, so be careful in doing so.

You make a good point. We are still under factory warranty so this is not an issue yet. When we switch over to the Good Sam warranty we will certainly be following your advice.

You missed my point somewhat. Thor will allow you to take it to a different repair facility other than the franchise repair (CW). Once authorized by Thor, you pay the repair bill, then get reimbursed by Thor. The process takes some time but it works. It could certainly produce different outcomes with different dealers.

Miramar slide issues

Hot water and refrigerator are things that can be fixed. Major QC issues going on at some of these RV plants. A faulty slide that drifts out while driving - and continues to do so after 4 repair attempts (once back in Indiana) is altogether another.....
