Tpms

Own a 2020 ACE 33.1, i'm thinking about putting a TPMS on it. Anybody had good/bad experiences with different brands?
Thanks in advance.

It's a pretty set technology with few patents still active.
One is pretty much like the other.
I have a $400 system and three $40 systems.
There's nothing much to like or dislike.

My $40 units are solar powered displays.

I have the Tire Minder i10 system and I like it fine. It seems to be more accurate than my older A1A system and I like being able to see all pressures at the same time. The customer service at Tire Minder is really outstanding and they give you free batteries for life. I consider TPMS to be absolutely essential kit. Don’t leave home without it!

I just bought theTireMinder A1AS. Has one of the largest screens I’ve seen on a TPMS and also has an app for smartphones so you can view pressures on the phone as well as adjust baseline pressures. I checked pressure before installing sensors and the were all dead on accurate. Replacing an EEZ system which I am going to sell. It was accurate but screen was just too small for these old eyes. PM if interested in the EEZ system.

I have the EEZ system and it works great. My RV is in my driveway, and I can be in my house 70 feet away, and the unit still reads the tire sensors.

Question: How many tires can the TireMinder systems keep an eye on?
With the Camper, Toad, and trailer: I've got an easy dozen to watch now...

I believe it can handle up to 22 tires.

You can, if you want to pay for the extra sensors. I bought the system with 10 sensors. Six for the MH and four for the toad.

I sort of figured that there be some "extra purchasing" involved.

Over a year, no alarms , the transmitters shut down when the tires aren't rolling, should help the batteries last longer.

I basically got the same one as ABJBRTD, but it came from Ebay seller in California, for $30 less free shipping no tax

I bought the 6 sensor unit for the MH. I bought 4 more sensors for the trailer. Since the car is on the trailer and rolling behind the MH I’m not really worried about monitoring its tires. And yes, the transmitter sends to iPhone so I can walk around and check things outside. Also links via Bluetooth to the Garmin gps to deliver warning alarms.

With a TOAD, you will appreciate the technology even better. Less to worry about.
