What’s this for?

Any idea. I have a 2017 Miramar 37.1. Looks like a internet plug?

Thanks

Looks like a data cable that is used for a remote control panel for your Xantrex Inverter. Although I see a cable already coming out of the cover where the control panel is located on the Inverter itself.

Does the cable coming out of the access plate cover go to the end of that cable in your picture?

The control panel can be removed from the Inverter and placed inside the coach. The Xantrex Pro Series Inverters usually come with a wall plate bezel, cover to replace the control panel when it is removed from the inverter, a data cable and a connector with two female ends to plug the cable from inside the Inverter that went into the control panel to the longer data cable so the control panel can be relocated inside the coach so you can control the Inverter from there.

Thanks. I have no inverter panel in the coach. Just have the small green push button to push to run inverter when I run the refrigerator when going down the road.

Thanks. Do I need to buy the contol panel. If so, what would be the benefits.

Thank you

You don't need to buy anything. The control panel on a Pro Series is basic. I think just Off / On and then it lets you cycle the display between voltage and current. Since I saw the control panel cover already installed in your inverter, I am sure it is already in the coach.

Does what you have inside look like this?

My next question is..... Does display the voltage when the Inverter is on and it turns the inverter on and off?

If so, then I am not sure why there would be another data cable... unless someone had a problem with it and they ran another data cable.... or there was a second inverter installed at one time.

If the panel is working, then that means it is plugged into the Inverter so as I said, I don't know why a second data cable would be there... unless there was a second inverter installed at one time or there was an issue with the original data cable.
