Sorry to clutter up the forum with a dumb question, but I have been getting a circular run around from Google/Youtube when I ask the question: What type of batteries are in my RV? I can't read anything in the battery compartment, nor can I even crawl under the beast to see if my current batteries are Lithium or not.
We have a 2017 Thor Chateau 29G and the batteries are working fine. I don't want to replace them!
I simply want to know if they are Lithium batteries or not.
Please help before I throw my laptop out the window.
Sorry, but there is no way the internet can tell you what type of batteries are in your RV. You have to look at them and identify the type of battery. Now youtube may help school you on the different types of batteries, but it can't answer your question. Neither can anyone on this forum.
If you bought it new it will have very basic flooded batteries. If so they could be going on 4 years now and may need replacing before too long. If you bought your coach used there could be anything on there.
Thank you all for your quick responses. I was surprised not to be able to get an answer from Thor specs and details since we bought our Chateau new. Thanks to all your help and advice we are educated and ready to go.
That year they did not equip Lithium batteries at all, and that was what I wanted to know.
