Wheel covers

How do the wheel covers come off of my rear duallys on my Thor 23H ? I need to take the outside tires off to get at the inside valve stems and install extenders

Should just pry off like old hub caps and pound in with a rubber mallet.

Not sure what your have but mine have two nuts holding the caps on. Thes two nuts have caps on them and four nuts on each cap are fakes. You can usually identify the correct ones by a small indentation on the side of the nuts. Remove the two nuts and the wheel caps come off exposing the lug nuts.

When you put them back on be careful not to pinch the extensions

When I got my ACE there was a special tool that came with the unit. It was a "T" shaped tool. That tool was made to remove the chrome bolt covers. Than you are able to remove the nuts that holds the tires on.

Also, you may find that you don't have to remove the outer wheel to install your valve extensions.

It does give you more "fighting room": if you choose to do so...

mine were like hubcaps covering the whole wheel, hub, nuts, and all.
I eventually put them in my attic for re-sale. I wish I'd done it first thing since the hand holes were too small for a hand... a real pain

We need pictures. My front caps also have the locking nuts. It takes a 1-1/8" socket to loosen the two locking nuts to remove the caps.

Not sure, but I think the 16 inch wheel models just use hubcap style wheel covers while they bigger wheels use bolt on covers.

I have two of these "hub" caps if anyone wants them. I'm in Pensacola.

Seems to be a rash of 1 or 2 shot posters lately. They ask a question and then are never heard from again.
