Do you know how long the engine battery should last ?

We have a 2018 class c freedom elite. Just had to get a jump start from a good samaritan.

Thank!
We have a 2017 Freedom Elite and had to replace the chassis battery this year.

Battery Tender/Maintainer is better.

Thor Siesta with one Mercedes OEM battery and two Interstate house batteries maintained with converter charger (added tie for chassis battery) and occasional de-sulfate are still at 12.6 to 12.7 full charge at over six years.

I stand corrected: a battery maintainer and a battery tender are one and the same...they bring a battery up to a full charge and keep it there without over charging...and they also ,when charging a battery, monitor the charge rate so as not to damage the battery by using too fast of a rate
a charger simply throws a charging rate into the battery until you turn the charger off...possibly damaging the battery by over charging... I personally like the battery maintainer then just the tender.
