Maintaining House AGM 12V Batter with Solar Panel

New AGM Battery fully charged. Did a weekend trip with my Fourwinds 23U model. Returned to the storage facility hooked my solar 7.5watt panel up to to the house battery. Hit the Disconnect switch. The Solar Panel is on the roof. so plenty of sun here in Florida. Voltage when when hooked up was 12.3. Voltage the next day was 11.8 Anyone have exp with these solar panel for maintaining agm house battery. Dont think it going to work will check tomorrow and see where the voltage is. THanks in advace.

Frank

wow, really 7.5watts of solar? Crazy! I mean that in a not-so-positive way, as that little bit of 'solar' is not going to do anything for your battery(s)... you have more parasitic draws than that can overcome. Maybe a 100w panel would do it.

First off, Your voltage should have been higher from driving your rig down the road. Second, You should have never dropped that much voltage overnight on a disconnected battery! You either have a bad battery or a big drain you don't know about.
